Mixed Media Work
A collection of my handmade mixed media work that combines my original photography with vernacular photographs and collected collaged ephemera on cradled birch panels.
Each piece is one of a kind and finished with encaustic beeswax and resin- an ancient practice used since antiquity to preserve images, with additional elements such as antique book pages, gold and silver leaf and flecks of mica to reflect light and mirror what is real and precious.
Each work of art is signed and wired on the back, ready for hanging.
