2023
I created this series in response to (gestures wildly at everything) happening on planet earth. The incessant barrage of man's inhumanities to wo/man, the ecological destruction from raging wildfires, rising temperatures, and the wars and desecration fueled by corporate greed leaves me reeling; bereft.
In order to pull back my energy from the edge of despair, in this series I use my artistic practice to process and purge the grief and rage I feel as we stand here at the precipice, doom scrolling on our phones to avoid facing the truth.
